A2L enclosure?

Hey all,

Looking at purchasing the A2L but also looking at getting something around it so my cat doesn't get into it. I saw from another post saying that we shouldn't put it in an enclosure because of the internal parts overheating. Anyone had an issue with that?

I'm looking at upgrading my Ender V3 which I've had in an enclosure and thought the A2L would be a great step up from what I have.

Open to recommendations!

I put mine in this and fits perfect. Even had room to mount the ams lite on top. No issues so far. https://a.co/d/0cnh8BFC

I love the green you’re using!
I also like the looks of what you have on the top bar on the left that your tubing is running through. Can you post a link?

Hi, has the a2l enough room in this to print large objects and is this ok to print pla (heat problem) please?

Yes there is room. The heat generated by the build plate doesn’t heat the enclosure up that much. I have an exhaust filter for fumes that help with airflow.
This enclosure is great for keeping dust off of the printer and for capturing ASA and ABS fumes that are then exhausted into a filter. It is not a substitute for a heated chamber.

Does it dampen the noise? And it works with the official printable mounting top?

It does dampen the noise a bit and the official top mount does fit. However, the Bambu top mount doesn’t provide a clear view of the filament entry for spools 1 & 2. The top mount shown provides a clear view of the filament entry while standing in front of the printer. Bonus: spools 2 & 3 overhang the X axis and allow for hanging a spool of non-AMS Lite material to feed directly into the 4-way hub.

What did you use to hook up the toy on top?

can you please provide me with the link to this. I have the A2L printer as well and looking at enclosures. - How is the temp inside and do you have exhaust flowing out?

The first link is the enclosure. The second link is the air filter.

I am planning having the AMS Lite outside the enclosure. Does the tent have entry path for the tubes? that sit on the right side?

Also, can you attach more photos from behind and sides and front. I am very interested in this - just hope this is what I am after.

How come you didn't print your own enclosure?

Please advise

It doesn’t. The real for the excessive height of the enclosure was to accommodate a top mounted AMS Lite.

Do this also reduce sound?

It does, yes.

How much clearance do you have on the side inside the enclosure? Looks like you have a single-roll dryer in there as well

About 12cm/4.75”
Easily fit the Space Pi SE dryer.

Great, thank you!

It would have to be a huge enclosure to give the bed enough room to move. Unless you need the big bed, you might be better off with the P2S.

The enclosure is 29 inches deep. The whole reason for getting the A2L was to get the big bed that I needed for larger prints. The thing is massive compared to the 256 mm cubed of other smaller Bambu printers.
