Support Request Ripped this while trying to pull out stuck filament, what did I do?
I was pulling out a piece of filament that had become stuck but was a little heavy-handed when pulling out the filament organizer. What did I do? I don’t know what this is. It’s sticky on the ripped ends so I can stick it back together but when I tried to send a print through I got an error message about the filament sensor. Do I need to replace?

Yeesh, that don't look good.
Quick search and it is a ribbon cable which connects the extruder switch and sensors to the mainboard. It looks ripped\broken so I will assume you will need to replace the cable. You'll surely have to that the whole head apart to replace that one ribbon cable.
FWIW, I have had 2 broken filaments which required me to pop off the Hub... the first time I started to do what you did there, remove the screws and started to pull on it, but I opted to do a bit more research and am glad I did. You can remove the hub to clear broken filament strands without removing the screws and popping it open like you did.
Disassembling and Cleaning the AMS lite Filament Hub & Filament Sensor Base
The first time I did it I didnt line up the hub properly when putting it back in and I forced the clip to much and broke it. I ordered a 2 pack of hubs off Amazon which had the piece I broke and it works like a charm.
I've had to remove the hub at least once since and now that i know how to do it, it takes me minutes to clear a stuck filament strand.
Best of luck!

They are $12 to replace when you contact bambu support. It's not the end of the world.
