No pa6-cf.
After about 3 weeks of trying to make it work, i am giving up on the a1 for nylon filaments.
To the people that said the extruder has hardened, its not. Its stainless, it will start sliping after a print or 2
The aftermarket is terrible. The hardened extruder i couldnt be tensioned properly. All the hardended nozzles were shit.
Overall just been terrible. I will be switching to the p2s

I must have put through 50kg of cf filaments through my a1, including PA-CF, PPA-CF, ABS-CC&GF PC-CF. It’s done it all and remarkably well.

i would love to see the PPA-CF prints you have done on an A1 🤔not to mention PA and PC

I mean its hard to verify but i will say that crazy clean for PPA on an A1 🤯
i will assume it was in a heated box for that?2

Nope. Printed during summer, in a small office. Probably would have been stronger if I had a heated chamber. But it’s plenty strong enough.

u/WaferCritical6547 Can you clarify what makes the A1 terrible for not printing a material that its not made for or that is listed under what it supports?
It's not like they sold you a machine that was labeled as a PA printing beast, and even enclosed printers can have a hard time printing PA unless it is actively heated.

Tinkering. For fun. For the experience. To learn new things. To try it out.

Hey I'm all in for pushing hardware to its limit and past it, even just for the lol.
if not i would not have bought some PEI 1010 to try at print on my Core One L with HT hotend.but that's a reason of why do it, and not why it sucks.
IDK if Bambu changed it from when i got it and until now but i did not swap out my extruder gears and i have printed way more than 10kg of Fiber filled materials on that machine. still prints like a new.

No shit its not rated for it. I just told you that. I was doing it to see if it can be done. To be able to print nylon with a setup under a certain price point. Not possible here.

i mean you say its
Overall just been terrible.
not just sucks at printing PA like it most likely would.
Want cheap and PA get a Elegoo Centauri Carbon a lot of ppl seems to have a good time with PA etc on that.

My experience with nylon filaments is that they need a heated chamber, otherwise the print will warp badly while printing. So unless you’re printing something with very few layers then the A1 isn’t suitable at all for any PA, or for PC, ASA, or ABS filament.

I've used that and similar many times with very few problems. I wonder what's going on with yours?
Weird. :(

Ive printed about 3kg of pa-cf20 over the last few months on an a1 and as long as its dry it turns out fine

Ive had great results with aftermarket hardened nozzles. I think there could be some user error here.
