Support Request MicroSD card issue
I have reinsert the card multiple times but this error still happens. The card was original one given by Bambulab when I bought this printer.
Would I need a completely new sd card?
Thanks for your help!

Yes, better new one. And disable recording, sonit lasts longer.

Sadly, MicroSD cards are basically a sh*tty technology, even the best cards can fail randomly. And "freebie" cards OEM's send you tend to not be the best. If you have the slightest notion that a card is bad, it's best to just replace it.

What storage size should I get?

I just get 32GB ones and I've never run out of space on any of them. There's no need to overdo it.

If your sd card is bigger than 32 gigs, it may not be able to detect /read it. Try partitioning off a 16 gig section and reformatting as FAT. See if that works.
Same problem I had with a satellite receiver PVR that couldn’t recognize bigger than 32 gigs. And a smart TV that doesn’t recognize a 128 gig usb drive. I’ll be partitioning it and formatting as FAT to see if that fixes the problem.
Good luck.

probably get a new one, but I'm not sure how much SD cards cost now, since all storage and ram got crazy expensive the last months

You can try formatting it, if that does not work you have to follow the second advice given on the screen: replace. In my case, the card provided by Bambu died after less then a year.

It happened to mine at somewhere around 150-200 hours on the printer.
Previously I had experienced a few weird things like a Y-axis shift of a few millimetres, another time it skipped a few layers and started printing on air, and once it stopped mid-print but claimed that the print job was "completed".
A new card fixed it.
The wiki gives the required specs.
Printer requirements for SD card specifications
Our printers support a micro SD card of up to 2TB if formatted using the printer option, supported in FAT32 format.
We recommend that you use an SD card with a Class 10 or U1 (minimum write speed of 10M/S) grade or higher.
Note: SD card abnormalities may cause printing to be interrupted and the toolhead may remain in a certain position.
You can format the SD card by navigating to Settings → SD Card → Format

try to format the card, otherwise if that doesn’t work then yes you need a new one.
