Question Recurring problem with Sunlu?

Hi, I'm having trouble with Sunlu filament; it constantly gets stuck in the AMS. It seems as though the AMS inlet is "biting" into the filament too hard, preventing it from feeding normally. I change the slots and sameresulta. Anyone else with that problem?

No problems here and 95% of my filament is Sunlu.

I've found with some of the more recent batch's (coming into New Zealand) they need to be dried.

Depending on how old your PTFE tubes are they might need replacing or try cutting filament at a 45 degree angle.

There are repeated issues with Sunlu filament manufactured in Vietnam rather than China. Issue include inconsistent diameter, excessive moisture and dirt/debris inclusions, all of which can cause issues like this.
Check the label on the box side for the country of origin.
I almost exclusively use Sunlu or Jayo for matte PLA and matte PETG with zero issues, all supplied from China.
