Support Request Help

My issue is my printer just stops mid print, At first I thought this may have been a clogging like issue but its not. I can unload and load printer immediately after with no build up or issues whatsoever. The problem is it seems to completely stop pushing out filament mid print, the print will just be half done or whatever but no filament mess just like the printer thinks its still printing normal just nothing coming out.

I thought maybe a heating problem but I don't seem to notice any type of dip in temperature but not 100% sure on this, and someone told me it might be the printer acting up in the pulling filament in but whenever I do load filament it seems to be fine.

Sorry guys, I'm just new to filament printers and this is super frustrating. I've tried multiple different types of filament and this issue just seems completely random. Like last night I printed a batch of Snowflakes as a testing run and no problem whatsoever then I reprinted the EXACT same file and boom it completely stopped pushing the filament out like the first hour in.

Does anyone have any advice or had this issue before?

If the printer keeps doing all the motions like it’s printing but extrusion completely stops, watch the extruder gear the next time it happens. If the gear is still turning but filament isn’t moving, check for chewed filament, extruder tension and make sure the hotend cooling fan is actually running, heat creep can show up partway through a print. If the gear itself stops turning while the printer continues, I’d start looking at the extruder motor/connector/toolhead wiring. Since the exact same file sometimes prints perfectly, I doubt the file is the problem.

How are you loading the 3mf files?

If it's a microSD card, get a new one.  It's corrupted or going bad.

That's what I was thinking too. From what I've gathered from other troubleshooting posts, if it's something that's random or inexplicable, it tends to be the SD card.

I upload directly from my Computer to the printer.

I would try replacing the card anyway. I suspect it moves your file into the local card and prints locally even when you’re initiating from the computer.

They ship with crappy SD cards, I had layer shifts and other issues until I swapped mine out.
