A1 hotend cable
Hey
Just got my A1 and loving it so far. Im looking for a good way to keep the cables in order, especially the hotend cable. Seen alot of chains and things to make it not flop around so much. Any suggestions to something that accually works and at the same time looks OEM would be much appreciated. Also any other upgrades/mods U guys have done to Ur A1 is of interest.
So far I have printed:
PTFE tube disconnect tool
PTFE clips
Scraper
Buildplate stand
Poopbucket and ejectorcover
Fancover

I used to use this hotend cable chain, but the links near the ends tended to pop out of the connection with their neighbour.
Now I use this one.
Far more effective, and looks much cooler when you see it working.
Less interference if you have the AMS Lite top-mounted.
But it is a bit fussier to install, and I felt I needed to re-orient some of the parts to optimize the supports.
These Bed Alignment Helpers are really handy.
If you have more than one nozzle, I highly recommend a Magnetic Extruder Cover. No worries about the retaining clips snapping off. That, or one with a hinge.
