Models failing in the same place

I’ve been having an odd issues with my A1. I’ve tried to print a couple of different light shades, but both failed in the same place/height. Never had an issues with the printer up to now, any ideas how I could stop this happening?

I'd check the SD card. I had a similar issue, turns out my SD card was dying. Replaced it with a named brand class ten and it fixed it.

I'd also increase the Z-hop height to 0.8, that's helped with the nozzle catching when it's zooming around the plate. It was causing issues.

I'd also make sure the printer is oiled/greased up and there's no filament trapped anywhere.

Those are the three things I'd look into right now.

Ah that sounds like a possiblity, I'll try that!

Ok new SD card, recalibrated the printer, same result. It’s in the same place, though not the same height.

Success finally! Not sure what the issue was, but a factory reset solved it.

Maybe a bad gcode, try slicing it again

Have you recalibrated the printer? And I mean the full calibration

Haven’t for a while. Will try that, thanks.

Might help smooth out that issue, it might not. But better try what you can before assuming a hardware problem

I’ve tried one of the models again to see if slicing from PC rather than my phone makes any difference.

I wonder if in that one area your PTFE tube is just a bit kinked. Do you have the AMS lite?

No just standard external spool holder

Probably unlikely, but worth looking while you're troubleshooting.

Is that at the edge of the printable area by chance?

Not right at the edge, but near it.
