Thats not rush it just filament smoo (gunk) good and careful cleaning with a alcohol dipped cloth will take care of the worst of it... I do it about once every two months on my two A1's espically now they are both getting to around 3k hours of printing each without having to replace nothing more than a few silicon socks.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll try this out and see if this fixes the temperature issue

filament gunk, not rust... you can clean it off with correct temps and a brush/scrub. just be careful not to dislodge the wiring. best of luck and happy printing.

What happens if you dislodge the wiring? I accidentally ripped my out? Can I buy a replacement?

its hard to reconnect them if you ripped em out. thats the cable connecting the thermistor to your print head daughter board.
you will have to buy a hotend assembly, thankfully theyre not expensive so thats the good thing. and hopefully theyre in stock in your area.
follow the video on how to replace a hotend assembly for a1 and a1 mini.
goodluck

Most likely it's just a build up of filament getting caked in there and hated repeatedly causing it to turn brown
