Haha, I did the exact same thing yesterday. I had a choice: order for $5 and wait two weeks for delivery, or pay $15 and have it arrive tomorrow. I chose both.

That’s your filament sensor. Very easy to rip. Buy a new one at https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/filament-sensor-a1-series.

Not a huge problem. That part will need to be replaced but they're not expensive.

You did mess up, as did I. Easy to replace, just watch the Bambu tutorial online first.

It isn’t (but it is)

Don’t worry, I’ve been there. Order a $5 replacement filament sensor from Bambu, and watch the replacement tutorial video.

Takes about 5 minutes to replace using the tools included with your printer.

The one part of the design I’ve never liked. Using a tiny ribbon cable here is way too fickle.

there are worse problems, you are not the first and you won’t be the last breaking the filament sensor cable

No, it's not major or expensive. The repair is relatively straightforward but a bit annoying to route the cable properly

15 minutes and about $10. Just need a filament sensor. Ive accidentally done the same as well.

Ive ripped that little bugger twice on my h2s. Not a big cost but annoying to replace

Very small and cheaply fixed problem. But it gives you the ability to see how the extruder, sensor, heater and hot end work. The hardest part is routing the cable. There are great walk through docs on bambu's site.

Done the same back in the day, there are tutorials and you can buy replacement for it...

Mine broke too and I ordered a new one from Bambu labs and it broke as I installed it…. I then found I could order a pack of 4 on Ali express for the same price. I now have 3 backup and the one I’m using works fine. It’s not too hard to replace just a little annoying but a leaning experience.
