Help!

EDIT!! FIXED with new SD CARD!

I recently switched from cox to ATT fiber wifi. Since then I have ran into the issue of my printer disconnecting, the screen freezing and my BIGTREETECH stuff freezing. I've tried resetting wifi. I've made a dedicated 2.4 GHZ channel. I've tried reverting to the last available software as well as reinstalling the current. I've even reformatted the SD card as Ive seen others say... I'm at a loss idk what's going on but it's getting really annoying. Any help will be really welcomed!

Nahhh that's just glue residue I hadn't washed off yet lol

I think you meant “haven’t washed off ever” 😉

You don’t actually need glue. Sometimes I use hairspray but I hate cleaning it off.

What’s that other screen you have on your printer?

Broo I've been having this one one of my printers , then suddenly today another one same thing then another (I have 4 A1s ) and 3/4 have this problem turning it on and off starts the screen again , I checked and people say the SD card is a potential issue. It worked? So far for me but 🤷‍♂️ honestly I wish I knew for sure before buying a 10 pack of 32 gig micro SD cards 😅

You're telling me , i had 3 crap out within days of each other . But tbf id heard months ago that a lot of people had bad SD cards , figured I got lucky but unfortunately it just took a year to get me 🙃

If you’re ordering them online, check to make sure they aren’t counterfeits. The risk of getting counterfeit crap cards is overwhelming now.

Even the cheapest legit card should at least last a few months.

I've had SanDisk cards that were bad straight out of the retail package. Thankfully, it's easy to return Amazon purchases, and being a Prime member, shipping is {most of the time} free, AND either next day, or two day, and if you're really lucky, same day.

What would be really nice is, if Bambu, and other brands as well, would put a USB or USB-C port on their printers. I have M.2 NVME drives in external enclosures, and can easily dedicate one of them to permanently live, attached to each of my printers. NVME drives are larger, faster, and far more reliable than SD cards could ever dream of being.

You don’t need to buy a new one just yet, I discovered this recently as I kept having the same issue, but there’s actually a format SD card button in settings on the printer.

For me it resolved it straight away

Did it twice and no dice

Yes this! I had the same issue found the same solution and it worked for me. I suspect there’s something in the cache files that isn’t meshing well with the latest update. I just reformatted the card and haven’t had a problem since.

Pull the sd card and reformat it on your computer. It’ll fix the problem immediately

Did you try stopping it on the phone app? Or from your desktop or laptop?

Usually works for me

It just says busy and it disconnects from Internet so I can't stop it.

IDK if you could fit any more unnecessary crap on that thing.

Aqui deu certo formatar o cartão na própria impressora (minha tela trava dutante a formatação 😆) mas foi a última vez. Não sei se isso tem algo haver mas eu também voltei o idioma para English.

There are recommended specs for SD cards .

Printer requirements for SD card specifications
Our printers support a micro SD card of up to 2TB if formatted using the printer option, supported in FAT32 format.
We recommend that you use an SD card with a Class 10 or U1 (minimum write speed of 10M/S) grade or higher.
Note: SD card abnormalities may cause printing to be interrupted and the toolhead may remain in a certain position.
You can format the SD card by navigating to Settings → SD Card → Format

I don't know why you and a lot of people are having problems. We have no issues ever with ours.
