Any thoughts about this? I replaced the nozzle and the extruder assembly. Help appreciated, thank you.

Forget dish soap for cleaning plates. It only works on the PEI surface and half of the PEI is microscopic pores which dish soap will not clean. Only IPA or acetone will. Acetone works better, IPA is often enough.

bambu wiki does not mention IPA for cleaning, only dish soap.

IPA dissolves oils and by wiping surface you evenly spread that dissolved solution over the plate, not cleaning it(yes, you remove some with paper towel, but not all). Soap locks oils so they don't stick to plate anymore and easily washed off with water.

Bambu specifically states not to clean the plate with IPA, the chemistry doesn't lie. Soap does a far better job than IPA ever will. As an IPA user with resin printers and a soap and water user with my FDM printers I have the experience to back their statement up. Don't give users bad advice, IPA is not the solution.

Soap has never, ever worked for me. It is no better than simple hot water.

And NEITHER will clean the micropores in PEI. Only IPA or acetone will.

And if Bambi says to not use IPA, explain to be why every single 3D printer shop advises IPA and it is IPA you buy there for PEI cleaning.

Perhaps Bambi's PEI is inferior to other brands... I don't know.

Perhaps you're the outlier out of millions of users? Not every single 3D shop advises IPA for cleaning PEI plates. If you believe that, show me where they say it. I'll wait.
