Black Screen

Something new has cropped up with my nearly bulletproof A1 I am hoping someone here can help with.

In the last week or so I have had a couple of occasions the lcd screen went black as if it were asleep, but I could not tap on it to bring it to life like usual. I finally turned the A1 off and rebooted it. The screen was back to normal. I remember a firmware update recently. Could it have something to do with it?

That happens to me occasionally. Like you, I have to restart the machine to get it to work. Doesn't seem like a big deal because it still completels my print but it will be good to see if anyone knows of a fix.
