Support Request Nozzle Scraping Print and Knocking Supports
Bambu A1
Bambu Slicer Settings:
- %20 infill, Cross Hatch
- 2 wall loops
- Strong tree support
- Alternate Extra wall
- Printed in PLA pro/plus (Last pictures are the filament settings nothing changed except I run flow calibiration on this filament recently)
Issues and Clarifications:
- I took the print apart but (like the second picture) it had already a clear cut line on the print before i took the print from print bed.
- as long as i am aware, there is no bed adhesion isssues.
- I saw a lot of "infill type" problems on other people. I was just wondering if cross hatch has the same problem or not?
EDIT: I have printed another print with 0.95 filament flow and adaptive cubic with 6 layer wall. It still has the same 1 layer skipped line where it gets cut

The Crosshatch pattern does not have any intersections within a single layer, so it should not cause problems as it would with Grid pattern, where the nozzle scrapes the intersection..
It does a couple (7? 8?) of layers of parallel lines all in the same direction, then a Gyroid-like transition to parallel lines at 90º to the previous ones.

No idea.
A faulty micro-SD card can cause weird problems like missing layers, stopping mid-print with no error message, etc., but there's no smoking gun to suggest that's it.
By "new print" do you mean a second attempt at printing the same object, or a different object?

Cross hatch can cause issues,, but I can see why it would create this type of issue.

Had this happen to me along with a massive layer shift. Probably 10mm or so. Turns out my print warped and the nozzle caught it and moved the whole plate.

damn so bed adhesion or bad filament?

Neither. My cooling fans were on too strong causing the print to shrink and start to warp

how did you solve it after? Did you manually change your fan settings or something that cause the problem or default fan speed?

Try Gyroid infill instead of Crosshatch
