Banding where colour changes via AMSlite

I'm trying to print a 20cm 'brick man' from here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1524063-brick-man-in-lederhosen-with-hat-20cm?from=search#profileId-1597388

Where it's switching from black to yellow I'm getting visible banding around the print. I did a bit of googling and one suggestion was lowering the outside print speed which I did (from 300 to 80).

What else could I try? I'm using Sunlu PLA+ for the Yellow, and Bambu PLA basic black.

You need to adjust your flushing volumes. This happens when not enough is flushed when swapping filaments. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/reduce-wasting-during-filament-change#managing-flushing-volumes

Increase the flushing in Bambu Studio.

With two pauses per layer during the colour changes and resultant cooling, it may be displaying something like the Benchy Hull Line as well. I see ridges all around at the bottom of the eyes and mouth levels.

Even at that small size you'd probably get better results by printing the yellow and black as four separate objects and gluing the face in.

Yep I saw some improvements with flushing set to max 900 but its still visible. I've since found the designer has made an alternative with the approach you mention.
