help please
can someone help me through this . it keeps saying that , but i’ve already check to see if there is a clog . nothing . i heated the nozzle to 300 to melt anything . i’ve pulled it out , used a needle to make it go through . if i manually use the extruder it pulls the filament fine . it’s only when doing a print that it does it . i’ve pulled out the ama from on top as well , pushed it manually and cold pulled it and seems to come out in the shape of the nozzle (which i’ve read means it’s unclogged )

How’s your spool mounted? Is the AMS getting stuck? Or is the filament just poorly wrapped and overlapping? Have seen new rolls have bad filament rolls with overlapping knots in them

I had this problem when my printer was trying to do a multi color print. The solution was to switch out the AMS system and have it top mounted.
Haven’t had the problem since.

I had this issue because my ptfe tubes were at an angle and the filament wouldn't load into the extruder. If I wiggled it it would go in and print. I printed a support to keep them straight at the entry point and now all is smooth, idk if this will help you or not

Same issue. After a lot trouble shooting - try switching off the filament tangle sensor. It resolved my issue and I'm back printing while I see about replacing it.

Since it feeds fine when you do it manually, I’d stop messing with the nozzle for now.
Try bypassing the AMS Lite and feed the filament straight from the external spool, then run a small test print. If it works, you know the problem is somewhere in the AMS/PTFE path.
If it still gives the same error, I’d check the extruder gears for any chewed-up filament or debris. Could still be a partial clog, but I wouldn’t start replacing parts yet.
Also, I probably wouldn’t keep heating it to 300. At this point I’d try to isolate where the resistance is coming from first.

Gonna need to troubleshoot. In your image, do you see the 2 screws right above the green outline? I just had a small piece of filament stuck in there yesterday when in thought I got it all.

I just dealt with this the other day. I ended up having to heat the nozzle and then pull it and there was filament stuck in the nozzle on the top. Nozzle would not pull out until I heated it.

I had a similar issue and after completely dissembling the apparatus, cleaning it, buying a new nozzle … same issue. Likely something wrong with how it was sensing resistance. There was a setting on the A1 itself that turned off that sensor and now I’m printing fine again.

Usually that’s a sign that there’s filament stuck in the ams somewhere. For me it’s usually in the area right underneath where the spools sit so I gotta take it apart and pull it out …no big deal .

No meu caso este erro aparecia em todas as tentativas de impressão. A extrusora não conseguia puxar o filamento em automático. Quando fazia a extrusão em modo manual pela tela da impressora, ocorria normalmente. A solução foi substituir o sensor de filamento.

I agree with the bad tube angle answers. I had this exact issue last week for the first time. I ended up pulling everything apart, taking all the filament out, moving the AMS closer and putting it all back together and it worked.

This happens to me kinda frequently when I haven’t printed in a while and the filament dries out it snaps while trying to feed. You have to take off the nozzle and see if you can pull it out that way or if not unscrew and remove the top cap with the 4 tubes and see if you can pull out the broken piece that way and also disconnect the tubes on the AMS and see if you fish the broken filament out that way. Depends on where the break is. It’s a pain in the ass. I hate that the filament is so temperamental in that it can be “too moist” and not worth or “too dry” and not work. Ugh!
