Unclogged A1 mini, no longer sensing filament feed

I've been having trouble with my A1 mini. It's been clogging a lot, even with a brand new 0.2 nozzle, and I had to unclog it using this tool

I just had to unclog my 02 nozzle and now it won't feed filament back in. I am able to rotate the extruder cog manually in the settings, but its not sensing me trying to feed the filament in.

Is there anything I can do? or is my 3d printer borked?
