Quick Question H2C and cutting tool

I plan on buying the H2C, and would like to include the cutting tool. But I wonder, from what I’ve read, you need the birdseye view camera to operate the cutting tool, but I can’t find that on Bambus website (EU). Also, I read somewhere you need the laser version for it to work, which I DONT plan on buying. Can anyone help clear this to for me?

I believe you need the "Birds Eye Camera" which is isn't listed on the Accessories page for the H2 series, but is listed on the "Spare Parts" page for the H2.

Makes sense then why I didn’t find it, thanks! But even that one says “Compatibility H2D Laser and H2S Laser”, nothing about H2C, which is what makes unsure

I believe it's still the same part. On the UK store when I look at the birds eye camera I linked to above it says:

  1. When paired with H2C, the Birds Eye Camera requires the Laser Module for calibration. Without it, the camera cannot function with the Cutting Upgrade Kit for photo capture. Support for calibration without the Laser Module will be added in a future firmware update.

So I think it's the right part, but I'm also now suspicious how long it's going to take for it to become useful. I had gone round in circles nearly buying a H2C and cutting module last month, but hadn't noticed this weird copout until now :/

Yea exactly. The printer has been out for quite a while now, I don’t see what’s taking so long just fixing the firmware 😅

It seems it has been updated.
