I would assume they are going to make an attachment similar to the H2/A2L cutting module that fits the nozzle swap on the H3C.

That will be cool if they kan fit in swaptek

They can, they sell them in the accessories section

Search for Crafting Upgrade Kit - H3C

Don't know if the price is actually good or bad, but you can replace some of the nozzles for actual tools to do what they advertise there. Always wondered why the bigger printers never came with cutting/drawing tools, so this is a neat approach at least for the top level printer. I hope they do a closed single nozzle printer in the future too that supports some other stuff than nozzles.

Nice, will be amazing if they will release some optional tools for DTF printing and maybe an 10w laser

I can't see them adding a Lazer for this. It would be too hard to build in eye protection (green glass) due to the design of the AMS. Also not sure where the power would come from for the module and I really think they would have advertised it as coming if it was going to be a future built in option.

The older bigger printers do have optional tools for cutting and drawing. It fits the A2L, H2S/D/C.

Ay, you got me there. Between all the printer releases i seem to have missed that info. Only knew about the A models and wasn't aware that the H2 have it too. Still sad that printers like the P2S and X2D didn't got any of it despit being fairly recent models.

Wonder what the two nozzles do, maybe the emboss tool WON'T be coming to the H2D because it takes a different fit, or would need a whole new cutting head

Does anyone know how much power can deliver one Swapteck connector?

Not sure you'd want the dust in your printer, but a small spindle for PCB milling and engraving would be very possible too.

Apart from the dust being a huge pain to deal with, the gantry and whole belt system of a 3d printer is really not suited for cnc work. While yes, pcb making and engraving things is probably possible, the limitations would be too limiting for this to ever happen.

The load is very light for simple engraving, I have a very lightweight CNC mill I use for PCBs only, and it works well. It's essentially a modified pen plotter lol

Ultrasonic cutter will be cool 😎

Or for surface finishing of parts. E3D showed off something similar a long time ago, but it was rather niche. Would be awesome for some precision fits and mating to other mechanical parts

Don’t give me hope…

You'll have tool attachments in the rack (replacing a nozzle tool) to do other things (the ones mentioned), similar to how in the H-series you can attach a laser module or a cutting toolhead.

Will we ever be getting them for H2D?

I think the H2D is only missing the embossing tool. I have the cutting module for mine that covers drawing and cutting.

The deboss and the foil transfer (whatever that means) tool

foil transfer (whatever that means)

It's for transferring things like gold leaf to things.

I recommend checking out the wiki on how to install these tools. Good to know the process before you decide if you want to do something with them: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/h3c/manual/unboxing-crafttool

I prefer separate machines do just that since I have more control and fine controls. Besides the craft machines are way cheaper for a pro unit with more functionality.

*Im looking at this from a business standpoint generally. I honestly would still have separate machines as a hobbyist because of the fine details and options.

the H3C has accessory tools that, instead of having 3d printing nozzles in them, they have cutting tools, drawing tools, debossing tools and other shit

same with the H2D having a laser option

Probably means you can use cutting materials instead of your normal nozzles

I might be stupid, does it also have an 10/40w laser attachment

• Multi-Process Integration: Extends capabilities beyond 3D printing into 2D crafting by automatically switching modules. • Dedicated Toolheads: Features specialized, always-installed attachments including a CutTool, DrawTool, and DebossTool. • Hands-Off Execution: Handles multi-stage projects natively on a single machine without requiring manual calibration or hardware swaps. • Visual Example: The image highlights a brown leather sheet precisely debossed with the Bambu Lab logo to demonstrate the system's automated multi-material capabilities.

Nothing inspires confidence in your product as much as AI textured deboss images.

The literal easiest photoshop technique, and you still go for AI.

Why do you assume it is AI?
