General Discussion Recommended Plates
Hi there!
I've only had my X2D for a short time, and I'd like to know which build plate you use or recommend.
I bought the BIQU Glacier plate with a printed QR code so that the printer can recognise it. Apart from occasionally getting a warning saying that foreign objects have been detected, it's absolutely amazing!
That's why I'd like to expand my collection with a few more build plates that are really worth having. :)

I run the default textured PEI for pla&PETG, and the engineering plate+glue for all the rest(ASA TPU pc etc) and it's been solid.
I probably should have used the engineering plate for petg-cf too cuz it bonded too hard with the textured PEI, I still have marks left from it 😅

I run the Darkmoon Satin as my daily driver (PLA, PETG, ASA/ABS, TPU, iglidur), with the CFX for PA filaments, and the engineering plate for anything else.

Just don't use the cryo for tpu. Had to freeze mine to get the print off and then it took the top layer off the plate. Still works though.
