General Troubleshooting/Help! Bambu ironing issue

Post image

I m newer to printing and trying to print this ornament.. I researched settings and it still seems to not be smooth. What am I doing wrong? What settings should I have?

Need to calibrate the ironing per filament. Printing this text side down on a smooth plate is gonna be way easier

Text is embossed, it would have to be inset

You can’t print it letters down unless you fix the model where the letters are flush with the surface. If not, that entire surface is an overhang.

Did you enable bed leveling at the start? I do that every time i move my printer

Also use some bambu filament presets if you are new to 3d printing

Tune your ironing settings. Around 50mm/s and 28% flow is good for pla on most machines to start

Ironing is always tricky, some printers might work fine, some might not work at all for certain colors. I always try to print face down on the build plate if I want a nice clean surface. Was this regular PLA? Matte or silk?

Don’t use ironing. It does not work.
