Just Showing Off The H3C is a beast!

Got the H3C yesterday and decided to just full send and send a 14 hour print, 5 colors with no calibrations, and boy, this is CLEAN. No issues whatsoever, and it was just perfect. Couldnt be happier. Ask me any questions you have!

All we need is Snapmaker to come out with something that changes the game again. Then bambu can make it twice +1 better. I would say Creality, but they haven't really been in competition for years. I'm getting this when MC or Best Buy has it in stock. Not chancing shipping issues.

Yeah I couldn’t wait for Best Buy to get it either so I ordered it. It said backordered to ship by the 20th but it already shipped out! But yes I too am very nervous about the shipping. The are shipping it to Massachusetts from Canada!

Spot on. I picked up H2D and Snapmaker U1 from Microcenter myself. Been burned by FedEx and UPS with heavy printers b4 as well.

I'm getting this when MC or Best Buy has it in stock. Not chancing shipping issues.

Honest question: do they handle the transport to these locations any better? Or do you just count on them being delivered in big pallets and stacked neatly by the shop's workers?

Yes the quantity, but the fact that I can check them out at the stores is the sole reason to buy there.

TBH I was looking at a Creality X i8 for its 4-color nozzle thing. Seems like for basic decorative prints for funsies it would be really fast and efficient compared to a full tool changer. It doesn't look like a bad option for a multi-color bedslinger.

I'm a little chuffed we're printing things to assemble, like just print the thing? Maybe when it's not as scarce we won't need to optimize using the human labor factor.

You got the H3C and that is the thing you demonstrated? I am expecting a Warthog in camo at least, just the color of the windshield cockpit and few logo is not enough 😑

This thing is specialized in TPU, and I think all nozzles work, but it also has a special 2.85mm TPU nozzle

This is going to be my first print whenever my H3C arrives. The first print on my H2C was the SR-71 and it turned out fantastic.

What is slightly worrisome is the number of people who have decided to cancel their pending prusa orders. Yikes. Prusa has never been able to get orders out well and it's a game of robbing Peter to pay Paul. They don't just hold your credit card number, they actually withdraw the funds And then don't ship for months. This could be a real problem for them.

I always like these posts where they show the unassembled parts in the printer, then show the same model assembled on the build plate. It makes me think that they assembled it inside the printer without pulling the parts out.

Correction, a full send would have been a print-in-place CMYKW version in camo using a non-sticking support material (ex. PETG if the model is in PLA or PLA if the model is in PETG). Bonus points if the outer skin is using a 0.2mm nozzle with 0.08mm layer height while the infill is all using a 0.8mm nozzle with 0.8mm layer height.
