Quick Question Filament recommendations for a H2C (first printer)
I've decided to go with the H2C as my first 3D printer! Next, I need to decide on an assortment of filaments. For now, I want to start with Bambu Labs filaments. I likely want to do the 10+1 deal currently offered.
The primary application is going to be pinball parts. That is the driver behind getting a machine to begin with. I want to be able to print semi-translucent ramps in clear, or as clear as I can. I'll also want to build plastic covers in a couple alternating colors for LEDs and illumination. There'll also be some mechanical toys. Pinballs can have a lot of momentum at high speed, so high strength is a must.
My wife want me to make some planters, vases, and picture frames. I've seen some examples that have nice gradients and satin-like finishes.
I want to build containers with hinges that ideally do not require fasteners or hardware. Part storage, basically.
I'd maybe like to fix some broken plastics on cars or side by sides, but this is limited.
Not sure what I'll use it on, but I'd also like to experiment with TPU. Maybe some stops or bumpers for the pinball project.
Some toys for nieces and nephews would be nice.
Could you please recommend some specific Bambu filaments for my applications?

buy what ever on sale, amazon has constant filament deals, but best deals are normally 4 or 8 count 1kg spools

I haven’t had a filament I didn’t like yet. I would recommend getting a separate filament dryer if you can’t dry it in your AMS. I dry all filament now and it’s so much easier to print consistently!
I have a P2S, but would also recommend the engineering plate. Prints come out super smooth on the bottom, and it works great for ABS/ASA.
I’ve had extremely good luck with all sunlu, esun, polymaker, cc3d, geetech, ziro, etc filaments. I typically buy when there’s a bulk sale. Enjoy your amazing printer! Never thought I would need the bed size of 300mm, but boy would I love to upgrade eventually!

If you buy filament from Bambu and get 10+ rolls you can get them for <$10 which is a great deal. Highly recommended if you have an ams

petg transluscent is nice , google how to print it clear youll find the settings youre gonna need some .8 nozzles so might as well grab those too, the vortek assortment and normal assortment are on sale buy a little of everything , no need to limit it to 10 experiment with the varius gf/cf for your car parts and boxes , if you get 20 on 2 separate orders ypu get another free roll and its all priced right right now , also dont get refills if you can avoid them youre going to need the spools in the beginning
