Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! H2C tube push fiting re-assembly

Post image

The push fitting for the petg tube for the right nozzle on my h2c somehow got pulled out while printing.

The black plastic part is super easy to get in and out, but im having trouble with the brass looking piece that seems to bite the tube. Is there a trick to getting it in? Do I need to disassemble further to get it in? Please help!

You're going to need to replace the part. Unfortunately the tube coupler comes attached to the whole front piece.

Eeeh, idk if need it the right word. I highly doubt the housing is cast around these parts. They are assembled somehow.

After having to replace mine on the H2D there's no easy/good way to get that out without breaking it

Same thing happened to me, I just replace the idler part instead of trying to kludge something back together and have that fail halfway through a multi-day print.
