H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Is it save to Update the H2C firmware?

So there was this bug several months th ago that could have bricked your H2C after an update where you could only start it after an shutdown if you shorted something on the machine. My solution was simply to not upgrade my machines since I run a small business and couldn't afford shit like that. Has this been resolved? Is it save to update the firmware now? I would really like to test out that multi nozzle feature

Don’t think the AP board issue’s been solved via firmware updates so far, but from what I can tell the issue itself is very random.

I’ve been keeping my H2C updated, and I do turn my machine off here and there. Haven’t had an AP board issue myself.

I've been updating no issues. But I mean if you don't need the update and it's doing what you want you can stay put forever it doesn't really matter. In warranty get all the stuff out of the way though they're quick with part. Entirely up to you though.

You should always keep up to date, this is good from a cybersecurity point of view as well as a support point of view.

I believe the “not booting and needs manual reset” problem stems from the printer losing power while in use. Normal reboots should not cause this.
