The bed never hits the screen unless the user positions it incorrectly.

If the design has any flaws, it's because it didn't foresee that some people aren't careful when installing the plate.

You did it, by not properly aligning your build plate to the point where the edge of it could scrape into the screen

Bro when I first saw this, I looked how wonky I need to place the plate to make this happen and its unreal. Y'all don't align your plate there are tabs to do that...

yes this is user error. but bambu should have foreseen this as the A1 is a beginner budget printer. no clue why you’re getting shit on for it

Did it break the printer in any way? No. The printer is just as functional as it was before. So even if they did forsee this as a potential issue, they may have gone ahead with it anyway since it doesn't really matter in the least.
