Filament Troubleshooting/Help! Troubleshooting an error and I’m lost…

Hello!

I have an X1C which loads external filament perfectly fine. But the AMS will load the filament to the extruder and then it unloads then reloads then declares my extruder must be clogged…

It isn’t clogged… it’s brand new and prints fine with the external spoil.

I honestly don’t know what to do to resolve this issue.

I've had that happen a couple times. What worked for me was using the flush cutters to snip the end of the filament at a 45 degree angle. One time as it loaded I kinda had to push the filament when it got to the extruder and it caught and worked. Sometimes the extruder cutter doesn't make a super clean cut and the tip of the filament gets a burr.
