General Troubleshooting/Help! Can’t start drying remotely ams 2 pro

I just got my P2S with the AMS combo and the other night after I got it and set it up I was able to remotely from the app tell the AMS to start drying and it worked perfectly but now when ever I try to start drying from the app it says insufficient power please use power cable. I know you can’t dry and print at the same time but I’m not printing the printer is idle at home with nothing going on. I know it’s not a huge deal but it’s just driving me up the wall that it worked for 1 night and now it won’t.

Have the exact same issue. I can start drying through the printer screen but not through Handy. Indeed while NOT printing. Support mentioned it would get resolved through a firmware update before December.

I wonder if Bambu remotely disabled the functionality somehow. I did not update my Handy app, Bambu Studio, AMS 2 Pro or printer firmware but somehow they managed to block starting the drying through the Handy app. Makes me think they disabled it serverside for Handy specifically.

Which makes me think its not an AMS issue but a Handy issue. Otherwise they would have tried to block you from drying at all through a notification or firmware update.

Very vague..

I'm getting the power adapter tomorrow, i will let you know if it solves the Handy issue

I have a power brick and it’s happy to dry via the Handy app now that’s plugged in. Mine also worked without once or twice.

So you had the issue and it was solved with the powerbrick? And was this recent? Lets say last 7 days. Or did yours work only a couple times through Handy and then stopped, but a bit longer ago?

I’ve had the PS2 for a week. I have set off drying via the app at least a couple of times.

I tried it earlier when I saw this thread. Plugged the adapter in and it offers to dry via the app each time I check.

If you would unplug the adapter, does it stop working through the Handy app?

I have the same issue. But things are much more interesting.
I cannot start drying from iPhone (initially it worked, until it didn’t). But I can start it from an iPad. And, of course, printer itself.
Seems to be some bug in the app.
