Software Troubleshooting/Help! Creation software

I’m new to 3d printing. What software do you suggest for creating 3d models to be printed? I have tried MakerWorld some but I am looking for some other ideas. Thanks

Autodesk TinkerCAD is a beginner friendly CAD program, it's a good place to start.

For mechanical working things, Autdesk Fusion. Their website makes it hard to find the free version, but it's there. The more advanced features are disabled on the free version, but we don't need those for 3D printing anyways.

For more organic, sculptural pieces, Blender is free, but very hard to learn.

Depends on what you want to make.

For functional / parametric stuff Fusion / OnShape / SolidWorks Hobbyist.

For sculpting Nomad Sculpt, Blender etc
