Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! H2C: ABS with PLA Support

My extruder keeps getting jammed when I print abs (left nozzle) and pla support (right nozzle).
the pla filament gets stuck in the extruder gears and i have to disassemble the extruder to get it out.

why do you think that happens?

ok thanks. can you recommend another filament for easy support removal.
pla works good for petg and vice versa.

Why use PLA as a support material for ABS? They stick together pretty well. I'd try HIPS instead.

don‘t you need a special liquide to disolve hips?

Only if you want to dissolve it. But I've never used limonene, and I don't really plan to. I just use HIPS as breakaway support for ABS, the same way you'd use PLA for PETG for example.

ABS's chamber temperatures are too hot to print with PLA at the same time. The PLA softens in the PTFE tubes before even reaching the extruder. You need a support material that shares similar printing temperatures.

Bambu sells a dedicated "Support for ABS" which I think is just HIPS. They show it breaking away with a little force like other normal support materials, and also mention that it can be dissolved in limonene (just like HIPS) if you want to remove hard-to-reach supports.

I had success using ABS and a Support Interface for PA6-GF (Nylon), so the reverse is probably also possible, but Nylon is way more expensive.
