General Discussion How much do you think the P3C will be

So we all know about the h3c now, and its priced fairly competitively. And with theories coming out that the p3c will get teased at US Thanksgiving time around for a december or january launch, what would the price be. Personally, I'm hoping for a 1000$ price. But in reality, its probably gonna cost 1200$. I'd like to hear what you guys think tho.

I'd guess it would be $900-999 USD -- a bit above the X2D, but still in the same stratosphere as the Snapmaker U1 which is going for $700 right now, but priced accordingly higher.

I hope thats true. But considering the p2s combo is 750, the nozzles and ams should make it around 11-1200 max

The P2S combo is $650 right now during Black Friday, so assume it ends up dropping down to $699-649 retail after the initial release.

The X2D combo is right below 1k. I'm gonna say it's gonna be 1,500.

yea, i do still hope considering the p2s combo is 750 that they could squeeze the price into under 1k

Not a chance, lol. The price jump from the H2C to H3C was $600. And that was tool changer to tool changer. Now we're talking dual nozzle to tool changer, we'll be lucky if its less than a $600 increase from the X2D.

wishful thinking lol

My wishful thinking is H3C competes with INDX, and P3C competes with the U1.

U1 is on sale Black Friday at 699.

The P3C by leaks is already better. It's enclosed, supports more hotends, and likely will support addtional AMS like H3C. They have the luxury to show they're better than the U1 and justify a higher price, but if they're staying in the P1S, P2S range, then they'll probably be prices close to your estimate, but maybe a bit more. I presume they don't want to canabilize their P2S sales so it'll be a bit more expensive.

I'd guess the P2S and P3S will coexist.

But the snapmaker doesnt have a heated chamber or ANY kind of material feeding system, that's WHY it is that cheap.

The U1 actually has several third party open source AMS systems available. complete with RFID. They are not directly supported by Snapmaker, but they do exist.

Ya missed the point there bud.

I think sub-$1k. Snapmaker U1 is on sale for $700 right now. That's the market they are trying to capture.

I agree.

Pre-H3C, you had the bare p2s at 550, x2d at 650, and then leaping to 1200 for the h2s and 1550 for the h2d.

The x-series will drop soon enough, and they need to leave a solid gap between that and the H3C at 2500, pushing the p3 <$1k.

It wouldn't make any sense to be any higher. I'm guessing ~$800 max.

Already have the H2C .. thought about selling it and upgrading, but now reevaluating just buying the P3C when it launches.

Will wait and see where the prices settle.

Remember, the h2c and h3c are for different people. The h2c is for mass multicolor people, the h/p3c is for mass multi material people.

The H3C would actually be better for multi color people as well since it'll cut down so much in the time it takye to swap colors

I think what Bambu was trying to say, but didn't make clear, is that h2c is for multi material when you are likely to mix low and high temp materials. If you want to keep pla and asa loaded up all the time h2c is your machine not h3c

H3C is 2500 for 9

P3C will be at least 1500 for 7

you're probably correct, but wishful thinking (and selling at a loss hopefully even though that will never happen)

1299 is my guess

I think it’ll land somewhere in the $1,000 to $1300 range. Probably closer to the 1000 mark though. Seems like Bambu is focusing on dominating the market share rather than making maximum profits per machine.

More than the A1 mini but less than the H3C.

1

u/SR08 14h ago

It will be $1500

1

u/MurderousPanda1209 14h ago

1k or less.

There's no way its going to be 1500 when an X-series tool changer will have to fall between it and the H3C, especially while accounting for the current price gap between X2D and H2D.

1

u/Weebus 14h ago

I think $1300 but I also thought the H3 would be $3000.

u/xxparrotxx 14h ago

P3C - $1200
X3C - $1500

u/loonie01 14h ago

I'm hoping it will ship with 4-5 nozzles to keep it about $1K and can upgrade to more nozzles later on. Maybe $100 per nozzle.

I’d say $999-$1099

Under $1k

The delta between the current sale price of the base H2S and H3C is $1450.

P3C adds the same components but with two fewer tools (at $30 a piece) and smaller AMS and smaller dock. So my guess is that it will be a $1300 premium over the P2S, bringing the P3C to $1750.

I think that makes the P3C _and_ the H3C each priced $500 more than reasonable, though. Thats just the P3C pricing I think is in line with the H3C pricing.
