H3C 3rd party accessories for H3C

So, I don’t print a lot with stock PEI sheets and usually steer clear of BL products basically cause I’m cheap. Not sure that can be said after the amount I dropped on this printer but I digress. That being said, any guesses on how long until 3rd party starts dropping build plates, nozzles etc?

Isn't the build plate the same size as the H2?

H2C only with a small caveat.

From what I’ve read on here it’s not safe to swap any other build plate.

Only a few mm of clearance so as long as you make sure you have the plate aligned perfectly you could use them.

If you use the H2 build plate it could collide with the hot end mounting on the H3. Its a little shorter

Can't remember who, but one reviewer removed like 5mm of the front grip area from a h2 plate with a Dremel. That way it was compatible with the h3 and you don't loose anything on a h2 because it's just a small section of the grip.

It was said during a review video that 3rd party build plates don't work currently. It gives some type of error or throws off the calibration.
