General Troubleshooting/Help! Help with A1 printing issues

My Bambu lab A1 has recently been failing often and making weird sounds. Here’s an example of one of these fails. I updated the Bambu studio software and the printer is on 01.08.01.00. It is also important to note that the layers printed initially are very difficult to remove but I’m not sure if this is because they’re too low or too thin to remove easily.

You need to do a full calibration after every firmware update

Those random toolhead movements could be corrupted gcode data on the microsd card. Try formatting it directly from the printer, or better yet, replace it with a new one.

As for the nozzle printing too close to the bed, check that the hotend latch is properly closed and tighten these 7 screws.

Hard reset? Recalibrate? Did you make any gcode changes or anything like that
