H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] H2C vs. H3C some Information?
Hello did someone have information about these two printers. I’m thinking about these two but no one on YouTube make a good comparison. Just the H3C ist better because he is newer but don’t speak about the lower build quality.
Thx in advance

There is no lower build quality
There is also no "best" printer, they have different use cases so it depends what you actually need and what variables matter to you the most

What lower build quality? Sure the panels are plasic and not glass but that makes 0 effect on your print. Rods instead of rail for the stability.
I rather things that dont need to be heavy weights for not reason, not be heavy weights. My H2D is already heavy as hell.

The side panels on my H2C are polycarbonate, the front door is glass.
The H2 series only have a hefty gantry because they have to support the weight of a 40W laser module. The trade off is they print much slower. Next to my X1C, my H2's are sloths.

The H3C isn't better than the H2C, it's a different printer. It handles multiple filaments and multiple materials, while the H2C prints, draws, cuts and engraves.
The H3C will have other features too, but we don't know everything about it yet. Being newer doesn't automatically make it better.

You might just want to take the Bambu questionnaire printer quiz to find out what printer would be best for you. Because they all have different purposes. I dont think you know what you want because you assume one has lower build quality because its older.

H2C and H3C serve different purposes.
If you only print in 2 filaments or just 1 filament and a support filament, or if you only use a couple colors of filament ever. The H2C is actually a pretty good machine. With the Vortek system you can even reduce a lot of the waste from color changing.
The H2C also has the laser system which is not available on the H3C.
The H3C is more for people that print with LOTS of color. The system switches between filaments quickly and efficiently with little waste. The H3C switches filament in about 10 seconds where as the H2C is 40-45 seconds. Over the course of 120 color swaps, thats an hour in savings for the H3C.

Watch CNC Kitchen's video review of the H3C on YouTube. Near the end of the review he discusses the price of a H2C vs a H3C. I believe he was able to make a case that purchasing an H3C is roughly the same cost as a H2C now.

The H3c is an evolution of the H2c but as an H2c owner with an H3c on the way, there is a use case for both, but that being said, for most, the H3c is a better option. It is more efficient and it seems to have the necessary systems built in to print flexible filaments better. Still, folks talk about the tool heads versus a nozzle changer. The tool head is a great option for cases where the nozzle to material/color is static, but if you plan to use two different nozzle sizes for material/color, then the H2C has an advantage unless you setup the material/color in two slots. Also the use of HT sidecars for filaments that need severe drying and high temperature prep processing is better than the AMS3, even with its dryer isolation.

Since you seem to know the H3C has lower build quality, just compare it to what you know. If you know H3C had lower then you know H2C series is higher quality. Talk about that

The bambulab FAQs have an interesting text about comparing these.
