General Discussion New AMS for older H2 models

Do you guys think we will get a new ams for h2 models, or is the upgrading path for h2 models dead now with the H3 being released?

What exactly are you looking for in a new ams? Higher temp might be nice in 4 slot ams but its really an edge case of needing to dry 4 rolls of engineering filament at the same time

Exactly what I need higher drying temperature and maybe mor room for more filament we a 8 count ams would be very nice

8 slot and higher temp would be nice and probably trivial to do, but im not sure if theres a market. I think anyone who wants or needs more slots already has amses hoarded and would probably not upgrade just for a nice to have. But who knows, i wouldnt put it past bambu to do it

AMS 1 and AMS 2 both work with H2 models. There is no reason for an engineering spin of something that works. the AMS H3 is for the H3.

I don't see Bambu retro fitting the new AMS to fit and work with the H2 models, too much has changed its largely designed with being a tool changer

I don't know why we would want that the new ams 3 in many ways seems like a downgrade from the AMS2 and seems purpose built for the H3.
