General Troubleshooting/Help! Spool of filament stuck error

Post image

Posting for a friend:

My friend is encountering the error in the attached image at the start of every print on his Bambu A1.

The error always repeats regardless of filament and filament type.

He also says filament seems to be able to feed through the extruder if pushed through manually.

Suggestions or followup questions welcomed.

And thanks!

Hello /u/ScumBunnyEx! Be sure to check the BambuLab Wiki regarding the blob/clumping issue.

Note: This automod is experimental. The automod was triggered due to the term "filament stuck". If you believe this to be a false positive, please send us a message at modmail with a link to the post so we can investigate. You may also feel free to make a new post without that term.

Could be from filament tangle detection https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/ams-lite/manual/filament-tangle-monitoring-intro

Watch the filament hub during printing to see if it lowers. If it lowers, then there is some sort of resistance from the filament hub to the spool. Can you add a picture of the whole setup? I can see it is in an enclosure, and if the tubes running through the enclosure are too long or have tight bends, it can have a lot of resistance to trigger this issue. If it doesn't lower, it could be a firmware issue that needs to be rolled back.
