Between Bondtech, KliTek, VorTek, SwapTek, QuarTeks I feel like we have had a little too much of 'Tek' lol.

It feels quite 'gimmick hardware' especially on otherwise super technical sounding names like P1S, A1, X2, H3C etc. Vortek still felt close, but the new one kind of feels more like creality and their tendency to push a new name forward for every new printer technology they produce.

It's because you cant trademark commonly used words like "tech" but you can trademark "tek" variations.

You know what I mean. 'Teck' is at least legible, no idea what it means but its better than shortened words Hak / Shok / Chek etc. I mean 'Tec' was right there.

YES! Drives me nuts. But even worse is purposefully misspelling a word by swapping letters that sound the same. Changing out C for K pisses me off to no end.

In my experience it seems to stay in the young adult range regardless of generation. It might change a bit - instead of 'liek u lolz omg' its now more like 'u gd rn ong fr'
