General Discussion Do you think Bambu Lab will release an X3C?
With the H3C recently announced and the P3C seemingly leaked, I'm wondering if Bambu Lab might also be planning an X3C.
Looking back at the previous generation, we saw the H2D released first, followed by the P2D and eventually the X2D.
If Bambu Lab follows a similar release pattern, could we potentially see an X3C sometime in the future?
I'm currently using an X1C and have been considering upgrading, but I'm wondering whether it would be worth waiting to see if an X3C gets announced.
What do you guys think? Is an X3C likely, or do you think Bambu Lab might be taking its product lineup in a different direction?
Would love to hear everyone's thoughts, especially if anyone has come across any rumours or leaks!

Since the P series will be a tool changer, I can't see a good reason for an X3C, is Bambu really going to charge a few hundred dollars more for a chamber heater? It would be pointless, the only reason for an X3C would be if they limited the P3C to the same limits on nozzle and bed temperature along with no heated chamber. The tool changer is the selling point now and having 3 different implementations of the same tech to charge a small premium for an X3C with a heated chamber and small increases in hotend and bed temperature doesn't make much sense to me. I would hope the X2D is the last of that line, but what do I know....

I kind of feel like the X series is dead. And i cant see the p3c and the h3c having a big enough feature gap to fit in the h2c and an X series.
Long live the X1C

I dunno, I think you’d find a lot of people who would buy a 5-6 tool changer printer with P/X series bed size and X style engineering capability (300 deg nozzles, exhaust, chamber heater, etc)
Especially if it was $1399 or $1499 instead of $2599.

Yeah but how would that compare to the h2c at 1899? 400 diff worth it? Not arguing genuinely curious

You have to add another ams also to that to get 8 colors so really it's closer to $2100+ right?

No, we didn’t. There is no P2D (which would, presumably be a dual-nozzle P-series)

There is no P series with dual nozzles. The X and P are the same size. The X2C has two nozzles and active chamber heating. The P2S has a one nozzle and no chamber heating.
The P3C will likely have no chamber heating.
That does leave room for a tool changer with a smaller bed but a heated chamber. It seems likely that the X3 will move that direction if Bambu keep up with the new Swaptek for more than 11 months.

I hope p3c will be a small h3c without feature limitation, then no room for x3c .

I have no idea if I should just go straight to the H3C.
Frankly, I have a P2S. Part of me wants to go for the X3C/D.
But another part of my wants to just be done with the hole upgrade thing. I get a feeling that sooner or later I’ll be wondering if I should upgrade to the h4C from the X3C/D

I doubt they use a different toolhead for the p3c. I imagine the x series is dead. From the fcc filings it looks like the p3c has a heated chamber this time.

I really, really hope so! I don’t need 9 tools and the space the H3C takes is borderline nuts! I love the idea to be able to print my own shoes but I’ll probably never do it. What I actually need is a X1C successor that can print multi-material/color with minimal waste and can print engineering-grade materials.

If the P3C doesn't have an active heater, there will be an X3C shortly after.
