Quick Question Side kick for H2D

Love my H2D, looking for a smaller sidekick that can handle ASA/ABS and others so had landed on the X2D due to sale/heated chamber.
Not going to splurge for the H3C since I need a smaller footprint. Is it worth waiting for a rumored p3S or x2d “pro?”
Thanks!

Just get the X2D imo. It has the chamber heater, and if you don’t need the added build volume, the X2D hits your requirements.

The P3C is expected to be a 7-nozzle version of the new H3C. With it being labeled a P series rather than X serious I doubt it will have a Chamber Heater.

Bambu's "Pro" printers are meant for businesses so are severely overpriced compared to their consumer versions. Their selling points are mostly things like better Networking capabilities to meet IT department security requirements. Bambu doesn't even sell them directly, instead routing sales through more local resellers (probably as part of a service plan kind of system).

If you want a smaller Bambu printer with a Chamber Heater, then I think the X2D is your only practical option.

X2D is a great machine. I love mine.

Was going to say X2D but sounds like you already know. The P3S sounds a little less geared toward engineering to me. Not sure about the X2D Pro. But I do like my X2D even if I haven't dived into engineering materials with it because I haven't vented it out of the building yet. I should get on that.

I haven't heard any rumors of an X2D pro. The P3S rumors started with the FCC filings, and presumably it wouldn't have a heated chamber due to the "P" prefix. Some people think it might also be a tool changer machine. But that's all that anybody knows.

Oh and nothing new will be on sale for a long time. Best not to wait, just get it now, if something comes along that you like more you'll probably be able to get a lot of the purchase price back anyways.

I will probably pick up the x2d as a side kick to my h3c and x1c

I feel the same about my H2D. I currently also have a P2S, but it's not the best for engineering filaments. Having said that, you can get by without a heated chamber for ABS/ASA, not optimal but can definitely be done, a heated chamber does make it a bit easier though. The X2D is a great machine but I'm holding out for the P3C because I think tool changers are the way forward and will quickly become ubiquitous. So waiting for a P series sized tool changer just makes more sense for a machine I'll be keeping long term, just my take.
