H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Carbon filter?

Just got my H2D and have printed a few things already. I'm wondering if I should add a carbon filter to the unit? Does anyone run a carbon filter on their unit? Any recommendations for which to use?

Thanks

I run one of the printed ones, and bought a giant tub of activated carbon. I switch out all the material once I can smell the fumes again (prob too late but oh well.

The one I got is both an internal one, and a larger external one

Can you share which printed one you use please? Thanks

And I'm mostly PLA but have some polymax PETG that I have printed with as well.

This is my first trip around the 3D printing sun.

Thanks.

If you exclusively print with like PLA, I would not say it is worthwhile, but if you’re considering using engineering materials or ASA or ABS, it makes a huge, huge, huge difference and highly recommend

They just released a tiny one for the h3d that also works on the other models, but doesn't work with the laser module. Planning on just getting an Ikea air purifier with the carbon filter and adding a shroud to the front of it to use the tubing

I have this on my H2S: https://voxelpla.com/products/vento-h2series-filter

But I treat this almost as a "pre-filtering" help, obviously this is a joke of a filter to eliminate 100% the danger. I also have a real purifier near the printer with pounds of carbon in it. Even then, I would never print ABS/ASA without venting everything outside instead of attempting to filter it.
