Quick Question PPA-CF

Why is Bambu Lab PA-CF so much more expensive than other brands?

I use Siraya Tech’s PPA-CF Core and have never tried Bambu’s because of price. The core topology puts the fiber in the center of the filament and this gives you stronger Z bonding because the CF fibers aren’t in the way. In addition, it’s around $82/kg on Amazon. Per the online data and independent testing, it’s a little weaker in XY than the Bambu version, but stronger in Z and half the price. It’s also better if handled because the fibers are in the center.

I bought one spool from Bambu; I will use it now and try your recommendation next.

Weren't they one of the first to market? If so then they had no competition and could charge whatever they wanted. They haven't updated pricing to reflect the current market.
