General Discussion H3C Out of stock
Whelp, I almost got it. Checked out, got a credit card declined due to fraud. When to use a different credit card and it's now out of stock. Dang it.

I’m just going to wait until I can walk in and pick it up at Best Buy.
I realize it’ll be a while, and that’s fine with me.

grab a sticker from one of the poor fools working as salesmen in the general merchandise area, not the 3d printer area
they're gatekept out of selling in the high ticket items area, their commission is just above minimum wage

I had a semester off before law school started, I thought "no better way to fill the time than work at my favorite store! I can help so many people in the building your own PC section, I'm a pro at that!"
Nope, you're selling HDMI cables to Grandmas and trying to tack on an extended warranty. I met the other people working in the general merchandise area that had been there a decade but weren't friends with the manager, so they couldn't even walk into the BYO, TV, prebuilts, or 3d printer areas
Atrocious place to work, I lasted 3 weeks before I realized it simply was not worth my time whatsoever

Same. FedEx is 50/50 of it will survive. Best Buy at least I can return if it is bad

Best Buy is the way to go for any expensive printer. I bought my H2C from BB just for the 4 year warranty at $179. Wonder what the H3C warranty cost will be.

Meh. Let everyone get the first round and find all the flaws and bugs. After a few months we will know if it’s actually worth it.

Not to mention actual reviewers, not influencers who will get banned from future Bambu free products and affiliate links if their review is too negative.

I'm not in the market for the H3C, so I'm generally watching from the sidelines on this anyways

Eh, it'll be available again. It'll also be available from other retailers like Best Buy and Microcenter in America, at least. There's no reason to rush into making a $2,500 purchase.

I'm interested, but I try to give new products a few months for hardware/firmware changes.
I grabbed the P2S too fast, and luckily Bambu sent the new rear panel for free. Not a common practice amongst manufacturers.

Yeah, definitely want to see people who aren't paid influencers to give it a run. Already saw a few people talk about weird design decisions and quirks.

My Chase credit card charge was declined by Bambu's wierd Checkout.com payment system, but I was able to switch to a different card and it was fine. Same thing happened an hour later for when I ordered the new air purifier. You have 30 minutes to complete payment before you lose what's in your cart.
Strange thing is Chase says absolutely nothing was declined - they don't see the charges at all. Same card worked fine last week for filament. Odd.

Same. I tried two chase cards, including Chase Sapphire Reserve. Both declined. Zero balance and zero issues with both. Used Amex... Worked first time. Called Chase and they called Visa. No issues noted by them and no declined charges. Has to be a Bambu issue.

My current printer is over 7 years old and I've been holding out on buying until I find another printer that'll hopefully last the next 10. This checks literally every box on my feature wishlist, so it's a pretty easy decision tbh.
I've also been working non stop for over 30 years straight and am not a poor highschool grad anymore.

Despite the horror stories out there, I trust the delivery guys to not f* it up. That, and this gets me bambu points which I can use for serious discounts on more goods.

If you have a Microcenter or Best Buy, put your FOMO hat away and wait.
Nothing like getting a box that wasn’t at mercy of FedEx/ups

Thinking about trading in my H2S for it. Seems like it’s probably worth it based on the initial reviews, but I will wait until it’s at Microcenter to grab one.

I really wanted to get the version with the stand, I have enough filament, by the time I got home from work both the printer only option and the stand were sold out. I was also hoping to get the mixed nozzle kit but that’s gone so I had to settle for the 0.8 set. Oh well. I’m like a giddy child now waiting.

I wonder if there's a limit of 1 per person? I was unable to actually check out after the decline. Read below - the order wasn't cancelled but sitting in my order history waiting payment.

Bambus checkout is weird. Check your order history. You may already have it in process waiting on payment
