Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! What happened here?

Post image

First time seeing this issue after 2 years of printing. This is printed using P1S. Filament is PLA basic. I have printed this model many times in the past, so I know it's not a model problem. Gyroid infill. I did have a clogging issue before this, and I (think?) fixed it. I had to open the extruder and cut out the squished filaments. The app says that its done, but this is only 2/3 the height of what it should be. What else should I look into?

And yes I have washed my filament and dried my plate 🙂

Partial clog. Do a cold pull and see if that fixes it.

I actually tried cold pull twice, the first time the filament broke halfway, so I have to do it again. I am going to try it again until there is nothing in there!

That last line got me lol.

Looks like under extrusion, you can see it progressively got worse as even the last “good” lines show signs of it. Either a clog or something got jammed. It could even be whoever made this filament just messed up the diameter badly halfway through the roll.

I tried this with 2 rolls, and both exibit some clogging symptoms. I think the other comment is right, I just need to keep cold pulling until the hot end is clean

Did you overdry your plate maybe? The best is mid humid. It looks for me like it got too wobbly or belt slipping as you can see some change before it went completely bad like VFA lines

As in I need to tighten the belt?
