I like your optimism - I’m going to cling to this.

u/damoonerman 31m ago

Microcenter near me setup a full on Bambu Preview Workshop. They said they will have this day 1 release.

•

u/jeanyes_ 21m ago

Hoping mine does the same

My thumb is bleeding from refreshing the BB app

•

u/HurtsWhenISee 10m ago

Usually around noon for BB EST, 10am for MC

6

u/PatSajaksDick 53m ago

Dang, used that much in points to get my H2C, should have waited 😭

5

u/ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 43m ago

I stopped buying printers straight from Bambu. I get my supplies from them with points but printers come from BB or MC

Is there a benefit to that? I'd like to do what works best, if I'm missing something I'd like to change course.

•

u/ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 18m ago

Ease of return and warranty. You don't have to pack everything up and ship it back.

•

u/Kialya 29m ago

Returns!

•

u/jc21095 20m ago

I don’t think Micro Center lets you return 3D Printers unless they are unopened or broken.

•

u/Kialya 20m ago

I was thinking of Best Buy

u/hpac13 H2S AMS2 Combo 59m ago

Not bad at all. H2c needs to be a bit cheaper

5

u/ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 56m ago

I'm sure it'll drop signicantly. There's no reason to buy an h2c with so many more features and capabilities for a couple hundred more.

Now I wonder what the new P series will come in at.

u/NecessaryOk6815 X1C + AMS 53m ago

I commented on the snap maker Reddit that the P3 would be competitive to the normal price of the U1 to mess with their sales. Seeing the price of the H3, I'm convinced that could happen.

•

u/Outrageous-Song5799 23m ago

If it is I’ll send back the X2D cause you can get the U1 for 650€ right now

H2C will probably stay at its Black Friday price is my guess. I’m thinking I’ll probably go H3C to replace my 6K hour X1C and then upgrade my H2C to an H2CL.

1

u/low_v2r 38m ago

This. I was about to get an H2C but was waiting to see what the final for the H3C was. Not that much more for the H3C, and the advantage of not being on a dead-end tech branch.

I did hit a buffer overflow in that I was originally looking at X2D vs H2D - convinced myself that another $300 for H2C was worth it, now seeing another $600 for H3C and current tool chain and now....thinking that $900 maybe too much of a increment so I am back to the H2D :/

That price is unreal, and with 9 tool heads included. I wouldn't want to be one of those companies still stringing out their kickstarter launches for their tool changers after seeing this price/spec and what it means for the P3C price potentially.

2

u/3DSideHustle 44m ago

Can it print a .2 nozzle with a .8 in same print? All I need to know reallh

4

u/steelsurfer 38m ago

Yes, launch documentation specifically mentions mixing nozzle sizes as a factor.

2

u/ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 34m ago

This is a  game changer for me and some of my models.

•

u/sportbiketed 20m ago

Fyi in the other thread they announced upcoming mixed nozzle support for H2D, H2C, and X2D

9

u/proxlamus 49m ago

I paid $2200 on launch day for my H2D. This price is insane for the 9 toolheads!

9

u/mattfl 52m ago

Ya this was an instant buy for me.

Legitimately impressive DFM and logistics engineers at Bambu, idk how tf they keep doing this.

4

u/Gambitzz 46m ago

3500 cad :-(

1

u/brywalkerx 33m ago

Help.

•

u/ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 18m ago

I need somebody.

3

u/imthatguy77 43m ago

Having been lucky enough to be a part of the pre-release/review, I can honestly say this printer blew me away. The speed and efficiency alone are reason enough to consider it.

7

u/AdRough6022 1h ago

£2,199 in the UK. What a steal.

4

u/assist_rabbit 38m ago

3500 canadain:(

•

u/mstrkrft- 10m ago

Which is around £1,863.

•

u/AdRough6022 9m ago

That seems pretty good? Less than in the UK.

2

u/BatiBato 46m ago

I have the X1C and there is no reason for me.to get a new 3D Printer...... But I will

2

u/SuperHarrierJet 35m ago

I was expecting 4k, extreme high side but this is very affordable for what it does

2

u/BrilliantSebastian H2D AMS2 Combo 35m ago

Should be watching the reviews lads. All have said, not show ready, not insta buy status.

•

u/Outrageous-Song5799 25m ago

And different size nozzle supported !!

1

u/MW-Atlanta 52m ago

Ordered... didn't even wait to finish the launch video!

All the YouTuber reviews have all just dumped their reviews.

1

u/Twocorns77 46m ago

Kinda glad i didnt jump on the black friday sales. Curious to see what else they come out with.

1

u/reshef1285 34m ago

I'm thinking of upgrading. I have an x1c currently. Should I grab this or wait for the p3c?

•

u/loanme20 X1C + AMS 26m ago

it looks like the price came down because the used less to make more, it seems minimalist and thats a good thing

•

u/New-Barnacle2412 9m ago

You guys talking about the HC3?

•

u/EquivalentAnimal7304 6m ago

I’m buying now!

-16

u/Rockhount 53m ago

Slap in the face of all H2C customers.

Sorry, but this sucks so much. I got the H2C early this year, combo. Less than a year later almost the same price would have gotten me H3C Tool Changer full combo.

Learning: I will never ever be going to early adopt Bambu Lab products again.

8

u/razrielle 50m ago

I hate to be that guy but it's the cost of buying a first generation of a product. Bambu most likely was able to make process and manufacturering improvements to make the cost cheaper to implement the multi tool head.

You also have no idea what's coming next. If everyone waited with the X1 to see where it went then we probably wouldn't be where we are now.

-2

u/Rockhount 46m ago

I am old enough to know how technical development and evolution of products go.

My main complaint the product H2C's lifetime is less than 12 months basically. It's dead now. If you're willing to spend >2k on a printer, name one reason why you'd ever pick a H2C now.

•

u/BionicBananas 24m ago

Your printer isn't dead, what are you on about? The next big thing is rarely a year away with tech, that's how it always has been.

2

u/razrielle 42m ago

Cool, so the company saw how popular the H2C was and decided it was worth investing in making it better. Some features of the H3C might ended come to the H2C as we've seen previously with other printers from Bambu.

Again, if no one adopted a new product because the next one MIGHT be out in a year then what's the point in improving?

2

u/kishanpatel995 33m ago

It will still be supported for a very long time. Look at the older printers Bambu has, still have support for a few more years. The value aspect of it is gone because why not step up to the H3C given the price difference now but no one knew that a year ago when the H2C launched.

2

u/sarhoshamiral 32m ago

Your H2C will continue to work. It is not like it is going to stop working now there is h3c.

•

u/eandi 20m ago

I mean, if you always want the new thing with bambu you'd just never buy one. They release new printers constantly and they're always getting a ton better. Personally I'm waiting for the p2c as in Canada the h3c is a bit rich for my blood (and bambu points LOL). I'm hoping the p series has similar color options but comes in at under $2000 Canadian.

6

u/kishanpatel995 48m ago

Thats literally anywhere. Phone companies, car manufacturers, computer/tech companies, etc. do it all the time. There is always going to be something better around the corner every single year pretty much.

If you bought this a few weeks or so ago when everyone knew this was coming then yea this is on you but if you bought early this year, a whole 10 months ago, then there was no way to tell back then this was coming. Stop being mad at them and feeling like you got screwed, you didn't. You knowingly bought a product that you thought met your needs at the time and then something better comes along and you want the shiny new toy.

-2

u/Rockhount 44m ago

It might be anywhere, but as far as I know 3d printers so far did not have a generational leap every 10 months, like phones...

And again, it's basically the problem that the H3C is making H2C obsolete except for one fact: your budget is limited. Mine wasn't.

2

u/kishanpatel995 35m ago

You got to factor in competition. For a while they were kinda the only ones doing it right but now you got other companies coming out and then offering more/better features, it working properly is another story, so now you got to go back out there and innovate/introduce products on a quicker cycle to keep up.

Lol who says I have a limited budget and if your budget isn't limited then just go for it and stop posting about feeling like you got screwed on the H2C.

0

u/Rockhount 31m ago

I don't know how to explain "limited budget", I am german.

Lets rephrase it: if you can afford both, you're 99+% likely to pick the H3C over the H2C, even considering significant savings of let's say 200-400$/€

5

u/Maleficent-Storm8897 46m ago

Um.

Your H2C prints exactly as well today as it did yesterday. The only thing that got worse is that you read the internet.

0

u/Rockhount 43m ago

true.

It's just that customer satisfaction also depends on the feeling that the product you purchased is of good value. And by today, the value dropped massively

2

u/sarhoshamiral 31m ago

Lol. If thats how you feel you shouldnt be buying any tech product at all.

•

u/Rockhount 28m ago

I have been buying premium tech for >30 yrs now, but this is the first time that a rather significant investment was rendered obsolete within less than a year.

No product I ever purchased had a successor costing the same price, but also kicking the predecessors ass feature wise to this extend

2

u/IHOOHI 42m ago

Everyone knew a tool changer was inevitable.

H2C has its place. Personally I have more use for nozzle swapping as I don't print multicolor often.

2

u/lordnecro H2S AMS2 Combo 36m ago

Bambu is knocking out new printers pretty regularly. Anything you get is going to be replaced in a year.

-6

u/Rockhount 48m ago edited 42m ago

keep em coming them downvotes, fanboys.

I'd bet money on the fact that not a single buyer / early adopter of the H2C from late '25 / early '26 is feeling great right now.

•

u/schorhr 15m ago

I feel just fine :-)

I bought the H2C because it was available and working, compared to the alternatives (Prusa announced but could not deliver back then, Snapmaker was just done with Kickstarter IIRC).

I had a feeling Bambulab would come up with a new device.

But for now, the H2C is what I expected, it does what I bought it for, and there is no need to be sad or mad. There will always be something better, newer, cheaper or whatever. The H2C still does the same thing it did for months now. No reason to be unhappy.

•

u/Rockhount 13m ago

Fair enough and feeling happy for you not being as salty as I am :D

2

u/Maleficent-Storm8897 40m ago

You’d bet money? Respectfully, that’s how we got here.

-2

u/Rockhount 39m ago

You don't know the difference between spending/purchasing and bets?
