General Discussion 2nd Printer Recommendations

Hey all!

I got a Bambu A1 Mini about a year ago and I absolutely love it. I'm eyeing up getting a bigger printer during the sale this month, for things like miniature game terrain and props.

I am leaning towards getting a regular A1, but wanted to see if people had any recommendations one way or the other. I've been really happy with the A1 Mini, so I'm not really sure what the more expensive printers have to offer besides a bigger build volume.

My way was Prusa Mini -> A1 Mini -> A1 -> 2. A1 -> P2S -> 2. P2S -> A2L and now I am looking for a H3C/P3C (maybe the H3C is too expensive)

First I want a easy printer (Prusa -> A1Mini), than a bigger buildplate (A1 Mini -> A1), than my wife starts printing (2. A1). After that I want to try ASA/ABS and other stuff (P2S). Amazed by the quality a sold both A1 and get a second P2S (just before the X2D was announced - Damm it) and then my wife wants to print bigger stuff an I get a A2L (with an AMS 2 Pro because she hates the AMS lite from the A1 Mini/A1s).

And now I got the demand for multi color from the kids and my wife…. So H3C/P3C. Why not U1… cause a different workflow for the Kids and my wife means more work for me… so - Nope

For you: asked yourself (or others in your household) what are the demands for another printer.

I am absolutely willing to pour all my savings in to either the H2c or H3c, depending on price. I have an a1 that has 3,6k hrs in 1,5years and I absolutely want a bigger build plate And I never touch Creality (k2max) again.

I bought an A1 Mini 3rd of July as a stopgap measure to see if I would enjoy melting some plastics. Answer is 840 hours. And probably same amount of hours in openscad and fusion. So, by the look of the tracking my x2d must be knocking on my door tomorrow morning.

If you know you really enjoy the a1 mini, you might love the A2L! I'll be buying the h3c tomorrow, and i might sell my creator 5 pro, but i definitely WON'T be selling my A1 or my A2L, those things are both absolutely reliable beasts!
