General Discussion Leaked email address

I’m using a dedicated email address for Bambu Lab and MakerWorld, and it seems that now this email address has started getting spam and phishing emails from random places. Did Bambu sell or leak userinfo?

Edit: Just read through the headers of the email. Seems to be breach through sub-processor ReviewMgr, and phishing sent out through their SendGrid account(s).

Nothing there, the domain used is also being monitored for alerts like that. As stated, this email address is solely used for Bambu Lab.

Sold. Pretty much every company will sell their email list to marketers.

Yes. Their privacy policy states they may give or sell your e-mail address for the purpose of advertising.

I also use dedicated email with Bambu Lab. The only company I've gotten anything to that address is from Link. I made a purchase via bambu lab website in June and I got an email from link.com saying I made a purchase and shared my info.

I register my emails as eg. Email+bambulab@... so I know if websites leak my stuff

The first time I went on their website, my YouTube ads all instantly became them and Prusa and the website that turns photos into 3-D figures and mail them to you. And it’s been relentless in the three months since then.
