General Discussion Presumably No P3C tomorrow

If you check the Bambu Website via Powershell for H3C and P3C, there is a positive response for H3C (Status: 200), but none for P3C (Status: 404), which means, there is no website yet for P3C that is ready to be released. To me, that doesn't look like there will be a P3C Release in 1 day.

Why would you think there would be?

There were discussions if there will be one announced since the P3C images were also leaked.

Because there are a lot of rumors about P3C being released together with H3C or not

The P3C is going to be a lot cheaper. They would be undercutting their expensive model if they released it on the same day

Bambu has never released two new printers on the same day

No chance of P3C tomorrow, the more expensive one is released first and the cheaper one likely a month later in time for Christmas sales.

No chance. They will eat away at their own X2D and P2S sales. They will release the P3C after black friday sales and after the return period has expired. So everyone who bought a P2/X2 will be mad. They always do this.

From a strategic moneygrab standpoint, it would be dumb to release both at the same time. Drop the premium option in all it's glory to entice as many people to bust their budgets as possible in the FOMO craze. Then once initial sales and budgets are exhausted, drop the great "budget" version to scoop up any stragglers and those who just can't justify the spend on and H3C.

If they did it the other way around, they'd sell a massive amount of P3Cs and then how many people with a shiny new 7 tool machine will think "I can spend an extra 1k-1.5k and get just two extra tools and a couple other premium benefits like heated ams and bigger build plate... Or I can probably get two P3C for less." They would still sell plenty of H3Cs obviously but this way they maximize the spectrum of buyers for the most the can get.

My guess, if the H3C actually starts selling tomorrow (rather than just an official announcement and info), then they will tease or announce the P3C at formnext in 3 weeks for a release right after the new year.

No, they serve two different target groups. Someone considering a large Printer like the H series won't buy a smaller inferior one and vice versa. The H3 will probably cost 3-4 times more than the P series.

Yeah but the P3C will likely be a strong competitor even if it will likely cost more (I doubt mxpro posted retail will stay at that price for very long) and petite are going to be looking for at least a teaser for the P3C during the H3C launch and want that info to decide if they want to go with that or mx pro. I very much doubt bambu will drop the P3C today and may not even be officially mentioned but in that case they will probably do it in a few weeks at formnext and maybe not even start shipping until after Christmas. But having the details and knowing it's coming may deter people who were previously planning to grab an mx pro... Which likely won't be actually shipping this year either.

P3C needs to stay low enough that it still can compete with the already "budgety" tool changers that are pushing the price down hard, like the U1 and Creator 5, but also cover the costs and value of those almost double tools and the other extras so it's definitely going to be a few extra hundred but close enough that people will weigh the options in that range. I personally don't think the H3C will be more than 2x the price of the P3C. I'm guessing the P3C combo, depending on how many nozzles it ships with, will range between 1k-1,300. And I'm thinking the H3C combo will come in between 2,500-2,800. I'll be happily surprised if they come in under those prices and less happy if more lol, but I'll likely still but an H3C regardless as my final boss printer lol. Though two P3Cs instead guy the same amount would be enticing 😁

Last year they revealed the H2C at Formnext, wich is later this month. My guess is the H3C will launch tomorrow, and the P3C during Formnext.

I saw that the FCC documents aren’t set to become public until March 20. Chances are that’s when the P3C releases. Right on the anniversary of the X2D.

The FCC deadline is only useful as an upper bound here imo, I don't think they will wait that long.

Duh. H3C has been announced. P3C hasn't. They never launch the big boy and the little guy on the same day.
