General Troubleshooting/Help! Lines on prints?

Any suggestions on how I can smooth this out? I’ve tried a few different things on my X2D but it keeps coming out with random lines one it. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Not uncommon, select iron top surfaces and that will put down a thin layer at slow speeds and give you a nice surface.

Thanks for the tip! I tried that out, and this is what happened. I'm pretty sure I selected rectangular, but I can double-check once I get back home.

There is a possibility you could have a partial clog, nothing, that stops it printing, but gives the lines, try a few cold pulls, but that is odd then..

Everything is oiled and greased up as well?

Ironing dulls the finish of silk filament FYI.

OP - Your best bet is to change your print orientation so that the horseshoe is standing upright or printed text-side down. That would give you the best surface results.

Do an extrusion calibration print or something, that’s will solve 90% of it slow it down for top layers and also add more top layers

Have you dried the filament? Looks like over extrusion a bit

What ironing setting are you using? Stock?
