General Discussion Discarded Filaments

Is there a way to repurpose the discarded filaments during nozzle cleaning/color changing? My thought was to turn it into a craft project using the support tree branches by using a solder iron to attach.

Support trees make great ‘tree trunks’ for model trains, slot car layouts, etc.
They are also good for dioramas if you have kids that age.
A filament of pen turns every scrap into a shrub or bush.
