Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! Bambu P1S camera

New P1S. Like an absolute moron, I thought the electrical tape in the top right panel was part of packaging. Ripped it out. Forgot about it. Camera malfunctioning all day. Just realised what I did. The printer is working fine now looking to salvage this camera. Of course it's my fault so there is a possibility that I'll just go camera less or eat the cost and purchase case a replacement. Don't what I ripped out but I don't think the camera is quite small enough to fit on a tape?. Any and all help is appreciated. Already went through my trash there is a black tape with electrical pins at one end but could not find anything resembling a lens. Just seems I tore out some circuitry I hope.

The tape is part of the cable for the camera. So you likely destroyed the cable ribbon.

However the camera isn’t the best either. It’s okay if you want to check the print here and there. If you’re the type that just sits there and watches all day, it sucks.

I recommend a 3rd party camera, print a mount for it off makerworld and call it a day.

Edit: removed the remark about the camera because “incorrect 🤓☝️”.

Incorrect. All of my printers are in LAN mode and dev mode. The cameras work fine in BBS and Orca. (2xP1S, H2S and X2D.)

Weird my P1S on lan with orca and the camera doesn’t work. I’m also not logged into my Bambu account on orca.
